1 haftalık bir ara vermiş oldum bloğa çünkü çok heyecanlı ve benim için hayatta bir kere olabilecek kutlamaların hazırlığı içerisindeyim. Eğer beni instagramımdan takip ediyorsanız, zaten biliyorsunuzdur. 

Bugün de, ufak bir ara bulabilmişken, bir süre önce aldığım EOS Lip Balm ikilisinin incelemesini yapmak istedim. 2014 baharı için çıkarılmış limited bir seri kendileri, ama genel olarak EOS Lip Balm çılgınlığıyla ilgili yorumlarımı da içerecek.

I've not been posting for a week due to the great excitement that I feel for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of mine. If you follow me on instagram, you already know. 
But today, I found a little time to break and wanted to post a review of EOS Lip Balm Duo which was a limited edition, for spring 2014.

Hepimizin bildiği üzere EOS Türkiye'de satılmıyordu en ünlü olduğu dönemde. Geçen ay alınan bilgilere göre eczanelere gelmeye başlamış ama tabi ki oldukça abartılı bir fiyatla. Zaten aksi olsa şaşardık. Ama tabi koleksiyon ürünleri, limited editionlar vs. gelmeyecekmiş. O yüzden bunu almak için hala çaremiz Instagram. 

İçerisinde bir adet Strawberry Sorbet ve bir adet Passion Fruit bulunuyor.

Bu ikiliyi gördüğüm an dayanamayıp siparişime eklemiştim ama EOS'lerin tüm bu üne değmediğini biliyordum. Sadece kokusu, görüntüsü, rengi, şirinliği için aldım. Beklentim tabandaydı, gerçekten öylesine bir alışveriş olacağını ve renklerine kokusuna bayılmakla kalacağımı biliyordum ki öyle de oldu.

EOSler, kesinlikle bu kadar üne ve reklama değmiyor. Nemlendirmeleri yok bile denebilir, Baby Lipslerinki daha fazla örneğin. Bi lip balm nemlendirmiyorsa ne yapıyordur ki zaten? Evet hiç bir şey yapmıyor. Sadece şirin. Ve evet, kokuları da çok güzel. Gözüm doysun, dekoratif dursun, görüntüm olsun diyorsanız alın derim. Nemlendirme istiyorsanız (çok doğal olarak yani) hiç yaklaşmayın, asla değmez.

I couldn't resist when I saw this duo but I knew that EOS lip balms were so overrated and they wouldn't perform very well. But I purchased anyway.
They definitely not perform AT ALL, they do not moisturize. If a lip balm does not moisturize, what the hell does it do? Nothing. They're just cute, their colors are pretty and they smell nice. That's all. If you want some decor for your room, get them.

Bu postta EOS Lip Balm'ların dupe'u olarak gösterilen ve Türkiye'de Watsons'larda satılan Balmi dudak balmından bahsedeceğim.

Hey everyone;
I'll be reviewing Balmi Lip Balms in this post, which happens to be a dupe for EOS Lip Balms. It can be found in Watsons stores in Turkey.

Gördüğünüz gibi şekli küp, yani EOSler gibi küremsi değil. Maddesi hafif silikonumsu, kadifemsi yumuşak bir türde. Kırmızı olan ahududu aromalı, ben gittiğimde beyazı ve pembesi de vardı, çilek ve hindistan cevizi, ama sanırım bir rengi daha var.

As you can see, it's cube rather than globe-like as EOS ones are. The material of packaging is quite silky and soft. The red one which I own is raspberry scented, there were two more colors-pink and white(strawberry and coconut) but I think there is one more color which I didn't see there.

EOS'e benzeyen kısmını ise ürünü açınca görüyoruz. Her ne kadar tam aynısı olmasa da dizayn mantığı aynı şekilde düşünülnüş. Öncelikle, kokusunun inanılmaz güzel olduğunu söylemem gerek. Ahududu kokusunu zaten çok severim ama bazen fazlaca yapay olabiliyor bu tarz ürünlerde, bunda öyle değil. Buram buram ahududu kokusunu alıyorsunuz.

The EOS-like part is the product itself, eventhough it's not identical, the mentality of design is the same. First of all, the scent is literally amazing. I already adore raspberry scent but sometimes it becomes overwhelming and artifical but this one doesn't have that issue.

Dahası, nemlendirmesi harika. Ürün fazlaca yumuşak olduğu için çabuk bitme ihtimali olsa da o yumuşaklık harika bir nemlendirme sağlıyor. İlk sürdüğüm anda dudaklarımın yumuşacık olduğu hissetmeye başladım. Gerçekten çok severek kullandım ve elim sürekli bu ürüne gitti ilk günden. Hala da gün içinde sürekli dudaklarıma uyguluyorum.

Moreover, it has a perfect performance on moisturizing. The product is overly soft so you may run out easily but to compensate, this softness provides great moisturizing effect. I felt that softness at the first second that I applied, re-applied thousand times throughout the first day. I'm still using it regularly.

Özetle; kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum. EOS'iniz olsun ya da olmasın, bu ürüne bir şans vermeniz gerek bence.

To sum up; whether you have EOS or not, you should give a chance to this product.

Nasıl Başka Şekilde Kullanılır+İnceleme: Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmer Lip Balm//Review

I've told that I'll be reviewing all the products that I showed you in my haul post so here we go.

Bu ürün Body Shop'un bal/arı temalı koleksiyonunun bir parçası. Tüm koleksiyon oldukça bronz, o yüzden bana hitap etmiyor. Ama bu dudak balm'ını daha önce bir kaç Youtuber'da görmüş ve paketlemesine aşık olmuştum. Sırf paketi için alacaktım zaten ama bulamamıştım, daha sonra Body Shop'ta denk geldim ve 20 liraya aldım.

This product is a part of Body Shop's honey/bee themed collection but the whole collection is bronze colored so it's not my taste. But I saw this on some YT videos and I was gonna get it anyway cuz I loved the packaging. So, I purchased it for 20 liras.

Alırken üstünü okumayıp "AAA ARADIĞIM ŞEYYY" diye atladığım için "shimmer" kısmını görmemiş bulunuyorum. Bu ürün oldukça ışıltılı, ama simli değil. Bence dudak balm'ının ışıltılı olması çok gereksiz, ve zaten dudaklarımda bu tarz bir ışıltıyı sevmiyorum. Nemlendirmesinin de "eh işte" seviyede olduğu görünce ufak bir aydınlanma yaşayıp "Neden bunu highlighter olarak kullanmayayım ki?" dedim ve boom. Gerçekten çok çok çok iyi bir highlighter oldu bu üründen. Eğer elimde highlighter olmasa ve Mac'in highlighterlarına para vermek istemesem koşup bunu alırdım. Neredeyse aynı ışıltıyı veriyor ve krem olması hiç bir zorluk yaratmıyor yüzde.

Because of the fact that I was like "OH THAT IS THE ONE THAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!" when I first saw this, I quite neglected the "shimmer" of the product. It is highly shimmery-not spakly though. But I see no sense to make a lip balm shimmery and I dislike the look of the shimmer on my lips all the way. After I test it and give "meeeh" point on moisturizing, I suddenly enlightened. Why wasn't I using this as a highlighter? It turned out in an amazing amazing amazing highlighter. If you have no highlighter and don't wanna spend a bunch on Mac, then go for it. Actually, run for it.

Eğer highlighter olarak kullanmasaydım da arı kovanı gibi küre şeklindeki hali için bile değer diye düşünüp çok da pişman olmazdım. Neden bilmiyorum ama aşırı tatlı, en kötü ihtimalle içindeki balm'ı boşaltıp başka işler için kullanırdım. Ayrıca, gerçekten de bal gibi kokuyor.

I wouldn't feel regret if I couldn't use it anyway, cuz the globe kind of tiny container looks amazing and I would just throw the product out and use the container. Moreover, it actually smells like a honey.
